My earliest photography memory was in secondary school. During an art class I was given a film camera and free time to walk about the town of Walthamstow (London) in search of unusual numbers and letters. On return to the classroom the lesson focused specifically on dark room film processing. Never-the-less, I remember the excitement I felt with this assignment and how 'natural' my first street photography experience seemed to be.
Many years later, and with a career firmly established in Retail, I began to rekindle my interest in photography as hobby. Its a past-time I continue to develop and nurture today.
I was an RPS member, whilst living in the UK, where workshops on Landscape and Portrait photography helped ground my knowledge on the rudiments of of this art form.
My wife and I relocated to Ireland in 2016, where I continued to develop my craft through a local photography club, participating in their workshops, competitions and exhibitions.
I organized my first solo exhibition in 2018 which, in addition to being a showcase for my work, proved to be a commercial success.
I have enjoyed a few commissions covering events and producing portraits for family and friends.
Photography continues to be a favored passion and this site has been is designed to share some of my appreciated works.
